You should update the launcher ASAP to ensure you don't forget about it later. Crucially, it notes that the exploit is only patched in the latest build of the launcher, which means that if you are using any build of the Technic Launcher prior to build#707, you are vulnerable to this exploit. This news post from the developers details how they went about fixing the exploit. I can't find any first-source accounts stating this, so if you want to be sure, I suppose you have to join their discord server where they made this announcement. If you're someone who uses Lunar Client, I've read from various places (reddit, discord) that the Lunar developers have patched this exploit within their client.
